I've been teaching music lessons nearly 15 years. I currently teach guitar, bass, uke, and vocals. I studied jazz guitar at Oberlin Conservatory with Bobby Ferrazza and voice with Claudine Spindt.
I'm experienced instructing all ages and levels, and have taken students from scratch through to recording albums of their own original music. I specialize in giving my students a solid grounding in ideal technique and practically-applied theory, along with with ear-training and exploration of material that feels relevant to them. I strive to continually develop an individualized course of study that takes each person wherever they would like to go.
